Mona Lisa Touch
Rediscover Comfort and Confidence
Changes in vaginal health can affect much more than physical comfort. Dryness, irritation, tenderness, and discomfort during intimacy may also influence confidence, relationships, sleep, and everyday quality of life. These concerns often develop during perimenopause or menopause, but they may also occur following childbirth, surgery, cancer treatment, or other hormonal changes.
MonaLisa Touch® offers a gentle, hormone free treatment option for women seeking support for intimate discomfort. At Women’s Center for Integrative Health, every treatment begins with a thoughtful consultation so we can understand your symptoms, medical history, and personal goals. Our focus is not simply on treating a concern. We want you to feel heard, informed, and supported throughout every stage of your care.

INTRODUCING

MonaLisa Touch® may be considered for concerns such as:
- Vaginal dryness
- Burning or irritation
- Discomfort during intimacy
- Tender or fragile vaginal tissue
- Changes associated with menopause or declining estrogen
- Certain mild urinary symptoms
- Intimate discomfort following childbirth or medical treatment

Personalized Care in a Private Setting
Your comfort and privacy are central to the MonaLisa Touch® experience. Before treatment, your provider will review your symptoms, health history, medications, previous treatments, and expectations. This helps us create a care plan that reflects your needs rather than using the same approach for every patient.
During the procedure, a specialized applicator is gently positioned so controlled laser energy can be delivered to the treatment area. Most appointments are brief, and women commonly describe feeling mild warmth, pressure, or vibration. Anesthesia is generally not required, although your provider may recommend a topical numbing product when treating sensitive external tissue.
Many treatment plans include a series of three appointments scheduled several weeks apart. Your exact schedule will depend on your symptoms and response to treatment. Maintenance sessions may also be discussed to help preserve improvements over time.
Most women return to their usual routine shortly after their appointment. Temporary sensitivity, light discharge, mild swelling, or irritation may occur. Your provider will give you specific aftercare instructions, including guidance about exercise, bathing, and intimacy.
Is MonaLisa Touch® Right for You?
MonaLisa Touch® may be appropriate for women experiencing vaginal dryness, irritation, burning, tissue sensitivity, or discomfort during intimacy. It may also be considered when symptoms are connected to menopause, perimenopause, childbirth, hysterectomy, cancer treatment, or other changes in estrogen levels. Women who cannot use hormone therapy or who have not found enough relief from moisturizers and lubricants may also wish to discuss this option with their provider.
MonaLisa Touch® is not appropriate for every patient or every intimate health concern. Treatment may need to be postponed or avoided during pregnancy, shortly after childbirth, or when an active vaginal infection is present. Certain medical conditions, medications, pelvic concerns, or unexplained symptoms may also require further evaluation. A consultation and examination help ensure that your symptoms are properly assessed before treatment is recommended.
